Release Notes 8.0.1

The XScan dialog has been reworked with version 8.0.1. As a result, users are now able to obtain results faster and more easily than before. Thanks to your feedback we were able to enhance the usability.

From now on, you will benefit from the help of the ScratchBook when you create your TestCases. This function is now also available in TBox.

Signatures and encrypting
XML Engine 3.0 now supports encrypting and signatures. This enables you to access the Windows Certificate Store, and to use Java Key Store.

From version 8.0.1 on, the parameter XPath has been implemented, which helps you define XPath expressions for finding nodes. The configuration parameters Transition and ExplicitName have been extended.

Tables with headers
The following steering parameters have been added to table controls: HeaderRow and HeaderColumn. TOSCA XScan automatically identifies and copies them to the Module as technical information. The value of these properties defines the row or column to be used as a header. The default value is 1.

Newly supported versions:
- Excel 2013
- Outlook 2013
- Chrome 27 (XEngines)
- .Net 4.5

Powerbuilder controls in WPF
Powerbuilder applications may exist in their native form and as WPF applications. From version 8.0.1 on, we also support WPF representations of Powerbuilder 12 applications. This AddOn is not part of the TOSCA Testsuite™ standard package. Please contact TRICENTIS Support for further information.

Behaviour Driven Development
The new version of TOSCA provides you with a Behavior Driven Development template for creating workspaces. This template can also be imported as a subset into an already existing workspace.

This template contains an example which shows the interactions between TOSCA and BDD. For further details on the subset, please see also the "Behavior Driven Development (BDD)" article.
