Hy Andrew,You can use the following Teststeps to close all open IE Browser windows. The Module "TC Start Program" kills all processes with the ImageName "iexplore.exe"."TC Wait Terminate" stops the execution until all processes are terminated. If you do not have any open Browser windows the steps will just go through.Command usable with Taskkillhttp://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/taskkill.mspx?mfr=trueBest Regards,Agnes
Thanks for this tip! This is a fairly common problem and in the past we've used other methods such as custom keyword scripts to achieve this. The 'taskkill' method looks much simpler.
Can you explain how module can be created for this please,
I've just seen your question - here is a screenshot of Agnes' taskkill command, done with TBox:
@Shrirang, you said taskkill isn't working for you. Maybe you can explain what exactly isn't working. Also, try to kill all IE instances using taskkill in windows' command line. If you can kill your instances there, Tosca should also be able to do it!
I have exactly the same config as above, and still the Browser isn't Closed.
Can you help me on the same
This Works, had a silly issue in the Parameter given
