Need inputs on Validations - SAP automation

Hello there,

We have few scenario's in SAP where we would like to validate the results with previous steps-  Should we use buffer for storing the value to be automated or is there any other easy options like storing the value in an excel sheet and comparing with it automatically?
What is the best practice which Tricentis suggests?  Kindly provide inputs.

Regards,

Karthik

Hi Karthikeyan,

One option I would like to suggest would be to use the file TestSet.xml that will be created for each classic execution.
The xml file contains your values from your previous execution. You can use the XMLEngine 3.0 to verify your values automatically.
However you would need to split your execution in two separate Execution Entries, one for you SAP automation and one for your XMLEngine 3.0 (TBox) steps, because the TestSet.xml file will no be created during the mixed execution.

I hope this helps.
