As in UFT we have Text, Image,XML and other Checkpoints for Verification of Objects, is similar thing we can have , suppose I want to identify Image

From this questions - and others you have posted - it looks like you're a long-time QTP user?  For good or bad, TOSCA is not at all like QTP.  As a QTP old-timer myself, I recommend that you investigate the Tricentis training programme before getting too bogged down in trying to make TOSCA behave like QTP.  Good luck!  :o)

Hi Abhishek,

One would not gain much by comparing QTP with TOSCA and I second Marc Bouron's comment. Since you seem to be a longtime user of QTP, hence lets play along and compare few features (with respect to verification) and I can say there are equivalent options available in TOSCA Test suite.
Consider this to be true always: Most of the times your XModule/Module in TOSCA represents a screen (if its a GUI application under test) and all the module attributes represent a control/object in that screen.

Listed below are some of the options that you could use as checkpoints: (use action mode "Verify" unless specified explicitly)
Text checkpoints:
1) .exists=True (or) .exists=False - helps you verify whether an objects exists on the current screen or not. Object is identified using a technical id.
2) .enabled=True (or) .enabled=False - helps you verify whether an object is enabled or disabled. Object is identified using a technical id.
3) .contains= - can be used to check whether a particular value is present in a Combo Box.
4) .list=Entry1;Entry2;Entry3 (or) .valuerange=Entry1;Entry2;Entry3 - can be used to verify the complete range of values or the available list of values in a Combo Box.
5) Text= (or) .innerText= (or) .outerText= (or) .Value= - can be used to check whether a complete text or partial text (if wild card * is used) is present in an object such as Edit Box.

This list for text/property verification for an object is not comprehensive. These are just some of the examples which are commonly used and the most important to know.

XML checkpoints:
Using TBox any XML file can be captured (Scan mode: File, select the xml file for which module has to be created). Apart from this captured module, there are generic module which can be used for insert data into the xml file. For verifying, you can use the captured xml module (which represents your xml file) and in its very basic form you can use Select action mode (to select a node in the xml file), Constraint action mode (to identify tags inside the node) & Verify action mode (to verify the values in the file).

Image checkpoints & to identify image:
IBTA (Image based test automation) is one the features that can be used to create modules completely  based on image recognition as opposed to using technical ids. Use the option "Create Image based control" to open a window which is similar to TOSCA wizard to scan the required object. You have the option to set accuracy for the image control as well, which would change the way that object is identified during run time.

There used to be a generic module called "TC Image Compare" that was present in older versions of TOSCA (I am not sure whether it is still available), which can be used to compare .jpg files, i.e. a baseline image with the current version of the image to check if there are any differences.

These are the various options that come to the top of my mind. Hope it is useful for you.

Best Regards,
Rahul
