Boolean Operators
OR or vertical bar symbol (|)
Finds a match if either the terms exist in a document (a union using sets).

Scaled appearance influences Select and Mark on Screen in XScan

Marking Areas


Select on Screen and Mark on Screen are very helpful features of the XScan. Particularly with web browsers it can happen, however, that the marking area is not shown in the correct location. Here is an example for Select on Screen:

The light blue rectangle is shifted to the left. In this case the reason for this malbehavior is that the Firefox is scaled by 120%:

A second reason could be that the system settings for appearance and personalization are modified:


For Tosca it is not possible to detect those scalings automatically in any case. Therefore, the solution is to set these values to 100%.
