How to buffer the result table to excel after executing query in DB via Tosca?

Hi,

I am able to execute SQL query using TBox DB Expert module, but when I try to buffer the result table am getting error "Table has no default property to read from.". Can anyone suggest what is the correct method to buffer the result table after executing SQL query. Once I do that I wanted them to be extracted into excel. If buffer for entire result table works then I can extract them to excel using TBox Read\create file.

Plz suggest

Regards,

Ashwin

Hi Ashwin,

You get that error when your colum and row are not appropriate . PFA a sample DB expert screenshot in the attachment.

Let me know if that is what you are expecting.

Thanks,

Aravinth

Hi Aravinth - Thanks for sharing the screenshot. What I am looking for is to buffer the entire result table to excel.

Support if I execute this query select * from all_tables; I wanted to buffer the entire SQL result table and have it in excel.

If I use Buffer for result table in the same module, it is not working.

Hi All,

As per my understanding we cant buffer entire table result in excel. I understood your question.

For Example Consider the table name 'Sample' which contians 5 columns and 100 records. You want to buffer the entire result set into  anyfile when you fire the below query.

select * from Sample;
