For our application it seems to matter.  We prepared our test cases using the attached monitor (19-21") and when executed our test cases on the laptop monitor we encountered failures.  We suspect it could be due to how the DOM operates.

We did not use any image based identification.

Hello,

The screen resolution also matters when you are using "identify by anchor" as a method to make your controls unique. Because it is based on the coordinates or the shortes path. Changing your screen resolution will influence these properties and could therefore create errors in your testcase.

Greetings,
Jesler

Hello !

The screen resolution size should not matter for GUI operations. However, Tosca does not support any kind of Zoom setting neither in your browser or in windows. Please refer to this following kb-article.
