Reporting Tosca Test Failures in TFS

We are integrating Tosca with TFS. While executing Tosca test cases some of the test cases are failling and are being reported as failled in JUNIT reports. However the build job in TFS is reporting as "Passed". Is there a way to report TFS job execution result as failed when test cases have failed.

Looking for solution on this.

Hi Junaid,

Usually it is like this:

Your build tool calls the CI Client via cmd line. When the CI Client has finished, the exit code does not correspond to the result to the execution. It corresponds to the fact if the CI Client itself has run successfully.

In order to consider the test result, you can use the following flag in the command you use to start the CI execution:

-x True

This will cause the CI Client to use an exit code that considers the result (with -1 meaning failed and 0 meaning passed).
