HOW TO RUN LAST STEP EVERY TIME EVEN IF SCRIPT FAILS BEFORE REACHING TO LAST STEP DURING EXECUTION

our application can handle upto 20 user at a time. we are running 500 TCs at a time. for each failed TC, TOSCA doesnt logoff application and next script kills browser forcefully. which keeps our first script session alive for 30 mins in application.

So if we are having 50 failed scripts then 50 sessions will be opened and our application will crash. In order to handle it, I need to run last step(log off step) even for failed script.

I tried recovery scenario, but it marked my failed script as Passed which shouldnt be the case for my use case.

Please suggest if there is any way to handle it. help will be much appriciated.

Hi Raj,

Recovery scenarios should actually work. Did you use a CleanUp scenario for what you describe?

Kind regards,

I agree with Johannes Zwart. Add Clean up scenario to log off the screen before forcefully terminating or killing the browser. So, the next session will have a clean desktop while login back.

Thanks,

PG
