Mail Engine v3 with Gmail is throwing a "bad credentials" error

Situation

You want to steer with the Mail Engine 3 your Gmail account, but you get a “Bad credentials” error message.

Solution

You must enable/turn ON the option “Allow less secure apps” under the “Security” options of Gmail.
