How to buffer the RowCount and ColumnCount of an Excel file using TBox Excel modules?

This article will help you in getting the row count and column count of an excel file using TBox Excel modules.

Situation

You want to buffer the Row Count and Column Count of an excel file using TBox Excel modules.

Solution

In the case of TBox modules, we can not use the TBox Excel Range Manipulation module without defining the range of the excel file. Mostly the scenario will be that we are not aware of the range of the excel file. Below are the steps of the test case through which we can buffer the RowCount and the ColumnCount:

1) Open the excel using TBox Open Excel Workbook:

2) Define such a range which your excel file is never going to achieve. For eg A1 to Z100 as per your need. But don't define a very huge range which might slow down your execution.

3) Then you can buffer the RowCount and ColumnCount of the excel using TBox Excel Range Manipulation since the range is already defined in the previous step.

This will buffer the last filled row and last filled column of the excel sheet.
