Steer SAP Netweaver Business Client main menu

This article explains how to steer the main menu of SAP Netweaver Business Client.


Situation

The main menu of SAP Netweaver Business Client is located in the top left corner of the window.

Solution

Use the Module Netweaver Menu to steer SAP Neteweaver Business Client main menu. You can find the Module in the subset SAP Netweaver Business Client Main Menu attached to this article. The subset also contains the Module Netweaver Menu Item Reference, which works in the background and can't be used in TestCases.

The Module Netweaver Menu has the following ModuleAttributes:

  • Caption - Caption of the window that contains the menu you want to steer.
  • Menu - Path to the menu item. To specify the path, indicate nodes with ->, for instance Insert->Image.
  • Menu->Menu Item - Alternatively, you can use Menu Item to specify the menu item directy.

EXAMPLES

In this example, you select the main menu entry Smaller by entering the following path: View->Font Size->Smaller.

In this example, you directly select the context menu entry Smaller.
